Every year on July 4th we head up to McCook Lake, SD to Jason's step sister's house on the lake. It is a fun filled day with swimming, good food, family and fireworks! The girls enjoyed swimming in the lake, Lily more than Avery. Avery got to go on her very first boat ride this year with Grandma Romaine and Mommy. She said to me, "Mommy, I'm nervous." When we were done, she said, "That was really fun, Mommy!" It was sunny and warm, but it was terribly windy, which made the fireworks a little scary! The girls had a great time playing with all of their Kneifl cousins.
On July 3rd, we had a BBQ at my mom and dad's house and lit a few fireworks in their circle with my brother and sister's family.
