Uncle Kylie's Wedding Reception

 Lots of pictures in this post!  Lily calls my sister Uncle Kylie...instead of Aunt Kylie.  It is funny everytime she says it so I call her Uncle Kylie too.  Last Friday was Kylie and Brian's wedding reception.  They were married in Mexico on the beach on May 12th.  The celebration was for friends and family who did not get to attend the actual ceremony.  It was beached theme and BEAUTIFUL!

 We had pictures outside before the reception and it was HOT, HOT, HOT!  Here is Lily with my brother...Uncle Justin.

I promise my dad was there...I have looked through all of my pics from that night and CAN'T BELIEVE I have ZERO pics of my DAD!  He doesn't like the camera anyways...at least they got some shots of him before the reception!

Wake Up Sissy!

 Avery and I had already been up for a few hours and this is what we walked into at 10:00am in Lily's room...a still SLEEPING LILY ROSE!

 Avery says "WAKE UP SISSY...I want to play!"

 She thinks she is pretty funny and big stuff for being in her sister's bed.

 She is trying so hard to get her sissy to get out of bed!

At last...Avery gets her way and she woke up big sister up!

Avery's 9 Month Stats

 The numbers are in...

Weight: 18 pounds 4 ounces 36th percentile

Height: 29 inches 89th percentile

Head Circumference: 17 3/4 inches 78th percentile

I was thrilled to see her over 18 pounds!  I asked if I should be worried that she is only in the 36th percentile for her weight, but there is nothing to worry about.  She is growing just fine and she is perfectly healthy and happy!  We might have another tall one on our hands!

9 Months

Dear Avery Grace,

You turned 9 months old this past Sunday.  We went to church in the morning and then you went to visit Grandpa Ray.  His eyes lit up when he saw you and you did so good when he held you.  He loves you so much.  After that you went to the mall with mommy, daddy and Lily.  You were such a good baby girl!  Lily got a cookie, but you celebrated with a french fry! 

What you are doing at 9 months old:

~ no change in clothes or diaper sizes

~no teeth

~starting to "army" crawl...it is the cutest thing ever!

~nursing 5-6 times a day and still in the middle of the night

~eating twice a day if that...you just don't like baby food and you need to get some teeth!

~like to play the drums

~love to have your blankie to cuddle up with and your thumb

~I swear I heard you say "mmmmmmmmaaaaammmmaaa" the other day, but daddy disagrees

~enjoyed going swimming for the first time

~met your baby cousin Jensen

~pet your first kitty cat

~still like to be rocked and cuddled at bedtime...mommy and daddy like this too

~practicing from a sippy cup...you prefer to have Lily's over your own

~like to take baths in the duck tub

~wake up at least once a night if not two times and then around 7:30 for the day

~take 2 short naps a day

~favorite foods are french fries, baby yogurt, bananas, strawberry bananas, and oatmeal (picky eater)

~you like to hit people in the face...especially GaGa and then you think it is funny!

You will go to see Dr. Russell on Tuesday so we will see how much you have grown these past few months. Mommy and Daddy and Lily love you so very much.  We are so proud of you and we are excited to see what the next month brings!  I love you higher than the sky and deeper than the sea...

Last Sunday we made a day trip up to Newcastle to meet our newest nephew, Jensen John Kneifl.  He is adoreable and Lily thought he was pretty neat.  Avery was more interested in the giant cat than in the baby.  Congratulations Randy and Jeanne!  He is precious!

Grandpa Ray

Jason and I took the girls to see Grandpa Ray yesterday morning after church.  His eyes lit up when he saw them walking in...we love you Grandpa Ray!
