I had a few days off this week before having to work the holiday weekend and it was BEAUTIFUL out on Tuesday so we headed to the Zoo. Maddie and one of her friends joined us and we had a great time. Lily was a trooper...she stayed awake the whole time without a morning or afternoon nap! I thought she would have been a bear by the end of the day, but she wasn't. She fell asleep in her stroller as we were leaving, but then got home and didn't want to take a nap. It was more fun this time because Lily is actually interested in seeing the animals. She "peeks" over her stroller to try and see what is going on. She had her little buddy "Molly the Dolly" riding along with her until she threw her out and Daddy ran her over! Molly is now in the laundry room waiting to be washed.

Tuesday night Lily's cousin, Jahrran, spent the night and then we headed to Mahoney State Park's water park on Wednesday. My sister had to day off so she came along too which was nice because it is hard enough taking a baby somewhere let alone having to keep an eye on two other kiddos! We all had a great time and soaked up some sun. Lily did not enjoy it as much as I had hoped she would. She usually loves to swim, but she was without a nap and the water was a little chilly so she didn't care for it too much...it also didn't help that she wiped sunscreen in her eyes. She did get in the water, but she fussed so she spent some time just crawling around in the grass with her Daddy and was more than content doing so.
