What to Do?
I don't know what to do. Lily jumped out of her crib for the first time yesterday after her nap. I was napping too and I usually hear her when she gets up and she will just play in her crib for a little bit or she'll yell for "momma, momma, momma." I didn't hear her wake up or playing at all. All I heard was a big loud "THUNK" and then I heard her screaming. When I heard the thunk I probably jumped ten feet in the air and ran into her room to find her lying face first, belly down on her floor. She had a little bit of blood running from her nose and she was holding her right wrist a little bit. I called my dad and Jason because I didn't know if I should take her in to get checked out. She wasn't crying like she was hurt, she was crying like she was scared. My sister came over and I decided to just watch her for a while to see how she acted. I took her clothes off and looked her over from head to toe and I couldn't see anything. I kept bending her wrist back and forth and she wimpered a little bit, but then she was off playing with Madison so I didn't think she hurt it. Later on it didn't bother her at all. I let her fall asleep in bed with me last night before putting her in her crib, and I woke her up this morning so she didn't have a chance to "jump" again. Do I just hope she doesn't do it again and really hurt herself or is it time to start thinking about putting her into a bed? I just think she is too little yet to be in a bed.

Jason Turns Thirty!
Kisses for Daddy
I never have been real creative :)
Make a Wish!
Celebrating with his little girl
Happy Birthday Jason!I have been teasing Jason the last few weeks saying that I am a cougar because I am older than him. Its just a big joke because I am all of 19 days older than him. I really hope he had a good day today. It is hard to tell because he has always been so laid back low key...I love him for it though! We just spent the day relaxing and hanging out at home. I got up early to go get fresh cinnamon rolls from The Farmhouse for breakfast. I made, well, attempted to make his cake last night. I only make cakes from the box and I somehow messed something up because it was pretty crumbly today when he had a piece...OOOPS. I bet he sure does miss his mom's homecookin! He really wanted to go see Avatar tonight and we would have gone but being a Tuesday night it would be impossible to find a babysitter for 3+ hours. Instead, we rented a few movies, got some popcorn and some fountain sodas and we're going to make a night of it at home with our baby girl. Happy 30th Birthday to the most amazing Daddy and husband...I love you very much!
Happy Birthday Daddy!

Monkey Business
Climbed up in her Great Grandma's wheelchair
Showing some attitude after Mommy said , "Get down!"She loves to make monkey noises and she loves to climb, climb, climb! She is my little monkey! I can't turn my back for one second without having to tell Lily to get down from something. Last night Jason was sitting on one couch and Lily climbed up on the other couch and Jason turned around to find her with my glass of pop in her hands. She is in to EVERYTHING! She climbs up on the couches, in the cupboards, in the fridge, in the pantry, onto chairs, and onto tables. She doesn't care if it is completely dark in a room...she will go there and I'll find her up on the couch by herself just sitting or getting into something. Her new thing is to climb up on the couch in the downstairs family room and dump my purse out. She is really quiet and sneaky and does it in the dark. Maddie had left a bag of pretzels out not too long ago and I found Lily up in the recliner just eating away at them! We went to visit my Grandma the other day and Lily climbed up in her wheelchair all by herself. So far we have been lucky and have had NO owies. We'll see how much longer we can carry on that streak!
Bare Bums
I wish I had a picture to go along with this post, but I don't. I'll try to get one soon though. I have heard of kids who don't like to wear clothes, but I never thought this would be my kid. Just recently Lily has started to take her clothes off during her nap, at the dinner table, and before bed. It's not all the time, but it has happened a few times this past week. The first incidence happened during one of her afternoon naps. I went into check on her and I found her lying there in just her diaper. I couldn't find her shirt...she had thrown it behind the crib and her pants were thrown over the side of her crib. I couldn't believe it! I didn't even know she could take her shirts off! I am thankful I didn't find her completely naked laying in poo or pee because she usually always takes her diapers off if she doesn't have pants or jammies on. Later that night at dinner Lily was in a highchair and she had thrown her sippy cup. I bent down for two seconds to pick it up and as I handed it back to her she once again had her shirt off. Not a big deal right?! Wrong...we were out to eat at Outback in public! Oh my...what will I do with her? Last night she took her jammies off along with her diaper. Jason put them back on her and she kept taking them off. Finally we just let her run around completely naked for a while and then Jason put her in a one piece zip up footed sleeper...LILY PROOF! Hopefully this is just a phase and doesn't last long...her naked little butt is pretty cute but I can't have my little girl getting all naked in public!
