4 and 6 Year Old Photos of the Girls

Thank you to Carly Urbach Photography for capturing these amazing photos of the girls.  They turned out so beautiful!

Book It!

Do you remember Book It when you were in elementary school?!?  I do!  Book It is BACK and Lily is doing a great job reading and earning her free pizza certificates!  The goal of Book It is to read 20 minutes a day.  You can read independently or have someone read to you.  After you read your 20 minutes, you get to color a picture on your monthly Book It calendar.  If you read for 20 minutes a day for 20 days out of the month you earn a certificate for a free pizza from Pizza Hut.  Lily was excited to cash in on her free pizza!

We are proud of you, Lily Rose...keep on reading!

Jason's Buck

Jason was able to make it back home to go deer hunting with his brothers this year.  On his first morning out and just a short time into the morning, he shot a buck.  I'm hunting stupid, but I think he said it was a 5X5???  Way to go Daddy!  He texted a picture and the girls said, "We hope Daddy doesn't bring home any dead animals!"  Looks like we will have deer meat for an eternity!
I also saw him mounting the antlers, and I'm still not sure where they went???

Thanksgiving 2014

We went to Sioux City the weekend before Thanksgiving to celebrate with Jason's family.  This was the last weekend that I was comfortable traveling away from home.  We knew we could make it a day trip and I felt better about that too at 37 weeks along.  We had a delicious meal at his brother, Lonnie's house, and we also celebrated his niece and nephew's Confirmation.  Congratulations to Rachel and Nathan!  The girls always enjoy playing with their cousins...especially on the Kneifl side because they don't see them as often as their Paces cousins.  We weren't able to stay for the Confirmation, but we are very proud of both Rachel and Nathan.

On Thanksgiving Day, we celebrated with my family at my parents house.  I don't have a single picture from that day...can you believe that?!?  My Aunt, Uncle and Grandma were there too.  My girls ate next to nothing and there was so much to choose from!!  Picky little turds.  PaPa took them to the park and then I did some shopping that evening.  I'm happy to report that all of my Christmas shopping was done and wrapped by December 2nd this year!!!  That is a small MIRACLE for this girl!

I love the holiday times...family, food, dΓ©cor, Christmas movies, the story of the birth of Christ and this year we will have a new baby boy to snuggle up with!  We are truly blessed.
